The upper window carries the time. The lower one carries the complete calendar - year, month, date and the day of the week.

The weekday row is printed across the top of the dial, with WR 3ATM under the screens.

Press LIGHT and the LED backlight lifts the lower screen in red.

Both windows stay readable after the lights go out.
